The Drama of It All
November 28th, 2006 Albert
We have added many new dramas including more Shakespeare and greek tragedies by Sophocles and Euripides. But don’t despair! There are also new comedies, including works by Sheridan and Goldsmith. All in all there are over 50 new books and more are on their way.

Since all the works youi have in your collection are in the public domain and, thus, were written some time ago, as an aid to younger readers (i.e., students), would it be possible to include a brief review of the available books? I think it would be helpful if people would be able to look over a short paragraph or two about a given book; something that would give a student the following:
1. The year of first publication
2. A brief biography of the author
3. A short list of other major works by the author
4. A short description of the work itself
5. Possibly a brief grounding on the historical and/or political issues surrounding the writing and publication of the volume.

Those are all good suggestions and (mostly) on our to-do list. But first we will be adding a few more titles and some community features.

I think you guys should add all of Cory Doctorow’s books. They’re all in public domain.
